Separate the proposal, identity and credit decision
A financing proposal gathers information and terms for assessment by the institution. Identity verification helps identify the applicant. Credit assessment applies its own criteria. Agreement formalization records the approved arrangement. These steps connect, but none replaces another.
KYC can be positioned before progressing with the proposal or before formalization, depending on risk and workflow design. Its result must return to the correct process with handling for pending cases and review.
A Brazilian CCB has specific requirements
Brazil’s Cédula de Crédito Bancário is governed by Law 10,931/2004. The law allows electronic signing with unequivocal signer identification. Each workflow and document must be assessed against applicable requirements.
Renaming a file “CCB” is insufficient. The institution needs to assess content, parties, guarantees, representation and other instrument conditions. KYC approval alone does not establish that a CCB satisfies every requirement.
Connect the records
Associate the proposal, identity transaction, document version and signature records with the same business process. If another person participates, such as a guarantor or representative, define the appropriate treatment for their role.
Combining identification and signing can reduce scattered steps and make records easier to consult. That depends on context-preserving integration and a workflow accepted by the institution.
Request a KYC demonstration to assess your operation and explore the Signature Platform for document formalization. An identification result is not a promise to grant credit.
